Operational Performance Improvement Lead

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid role

Base salary: €2,100–€3,400 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead priority operational improvement interventions from diagnosis through delivery and embedded change.
• Resolve systemic performance issues across organisational boundaries by addressing process, data, governance, and technology root causes.
• Design pragmatic improvements to ways of working, operating models, controls, and data, with clear ongoing ownership.
• Define success criteria, measure outcomes, and ensure improvements are sustainable.
• Help prioritise the improvement portfolio and provide leadership visibility into progress, recurring themes, and blockers.

Requirements

• Proven ability to deliver complex, cross-functional interventions with measurable and lasting results.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative data-analysis skills for building fact bases, identifying performance drivers, and measuring impact.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and translate findings into executable actions.
• Experience in operational improvement, transformation, or business consulting with a record of delivering measurable change.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a global organisation.
• Understanding of insurance or reinsurance operations, ideally Life & Health Reinsurance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other structured improvement methodologies.
• Experience with data-, technology-, or AI-enabled operational improvements.
• Experience with Client Data Management or the Life & Health treaty lifecycle.
