Senior SAP S/4HANA Controlling Consultant (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Düsseldorf, Germany. Willingness to travel is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement SAP S/4HANA Controlling solutions across transformation, migration, and rollout projects.
• Analyze and optimize cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, product costing, overhead management, and CO-PA/Margin Analysis.
• Configure SAP S/4HANA CO and integrate it with FI, MM, SD, PP, PS, and Asset Accounting.
• Lead discovery, fit-to-standard and gap workshops, requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and functional specifications.
• Drive data migration, integrations, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• Lead Controlling workstreams, deliver training and knowledge transfer, and support proposals and reusable best-practice assets.

Requirements

• Extensive SAP consulting experience with a strong focus on SAP Controlling and management accounting.
• Deep hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Controlling, including CO-OM, cost center accounting, internal orders, profit center accounting, product costing, and CO-PA/Margin Analysis.
• Strong experience in discrete manufacturing and automotive, including complex intercompany processes and product, vertical, or plant-level P&L.
• At least four end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation projects covering Prepare through Run phases.
• Experience with global template assessment, requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, migration, cutover, and support.
• Fluent German and English required; a degree in business, finance, accounting, IT, business informatics, or a related field is expected.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting certification.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud planning, SAP BPC, Group Reporting, embedded analytics, Central Finance, Material Ledger, Project System, or Investment Management.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate, fit-to-standard delivery, and clean-core principles.
• Experience leading workstreams, mentoring consultants, or supporting pre-sales activities.
