Senior NFR Specialist (Non-Financial Risk)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

Wage: €3,443 gross per month minimum salary component; final conditions are negotiable based on experience and profile.

What you will do

• Own assigned non-financial risk and control activities, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
• Interpret policies, standards, and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical processes and guidance.
• Research and analyse information, identify trends, and prepare clear reports and insights for stakeholders.
• Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures and help resolve complex issues and queries.
• Review practices, recommend improvements, and support change initiatives that strengthen quality, efficiency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and control stakeholders and share knowledge across international, cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent education.
• Typically three to six years of relevant experience in non-financial risk, business control, compliance, resilience, consulting, transformation, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of risk-management techniques, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, judgement, stakeholder-management, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently within established frameworks and provide practical guidance to colleagues.
• Excellent command of English.
