TL;DR
NFR Expert (Non-Financial Risk and Control Management): Strengthening non-financial risk management through risk assessment, policy implementation, analysis, advisory support, and continuous improvement with an accent on regulatory requirements, resilience, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on interpreting complex information, advising senior stakeholders, implementing practical control frameworks, and delivering change across an international organisation.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; flexible working hours and work from home are available.

Gross wage: €4,293 per month minimum, with final financial conditions negotiated based on experience and profile.

What you will do

  • Own assigned non-financial risk and control activities, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
  • Interpret policies, standards, and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical processes and guidance.
  • Analyse information from multiple sources, identify trends and impacts, and prepare management reporting.
  • Advise senior stakeholders on risk, controls, policy implementation, change initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Assess existing practices, recommend improvements, and support complex change delivery.
  • Collaborate across business, risk, and control functions while sharing expertise and coaching colleagues.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent education.
  • Typically more than six years of professional experience in non-financial risk, business control, compliance, resilience, consulting, transformation, or a related field.
  • Recognised expertise in risk management techniques and relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience identifying, assessing, prioritising, and managing risks and issues in complex business environments.
  • Advanced analytical, stakeholder-management, influencing, communication, and reporting skills, including experience advising senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English; ability to work independently in international and cross-functional teams.
