TL;DR

Intern QA Engineer (Web) (Software Testing): Performing web application testing and documenting defects with an accent on test cases, bug reporting, and technical documentation. Focus on investigating software issues, preparing testing reports, and communicating results with international client teams.

Location: Remote within Kenya

What you will do

Perform various types of software testing.
Investigate issues and log bugs in the bug tracking system.
Create test cases and work with technical documentation.
Prepare reports on testing results.
Participate in team meetings and communicate with client teams and clients.

Requirements

Completed software testing courses and a strong theoretical foundation in testing.
Upper-Intermediate English for written and oral communication with international clients.
Understanding of software testing concepts, types, methods, and the product development cycle.
Understanding of the tester's role in delivering high-quality software.
Motivation to investigate bugs, achieve results, and continue learning.

Nice to have

Experience with Jira and TestRail.
Knowledge of mobile device testing.
