Salary: $217,000–$312,200 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade Unity Catalog governance capabilities.
• Own the governance product roadmap from initial concept through scalable solutions with measurable business impact.
• Set standards for security, usability, performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to align technical strategy and integrate governance features.
• Mentor senior engineers and improve development and operational practices across the organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep computer science expertise in algorithms and data structures, with practical application.
• Experience driving customer-focused initiatives and incremental delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
