Security Engineer (Cloud & Network Security)

Location: New Taipei City, Taiwan; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Lead Security Operations Center activities, including provider transitions and global threat detection and response requirements.
• Manage and optimize co-managed SIEM log analytics for comprehensive threat visibility.
• Drive digital perimeter hardening, network zoning, firewall policy assessments, and traffic-flow baseline standards.
• Manage endpoint integrity, patching, and permissions using Trellix and Rapid7.
• Implement network security controls with Fortinet Firewalls and Cisco ISE.
• Design secure AWS, Azure, and GCP connectivity and automate threat mitigation through FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, scripting, and API integrations.

Requirements

• Proven security engineering experience with enterprise-grade technologies.
• Experience deploying and managing SIEM/SOAR systems such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with EDR/XDR platforms such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
• Hands-on experience with Trellix, Rapid7, Wireshark, secure protocols, and technical security configurations.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Excellent English communication skills for explaining complex technical risks to global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional security certifications.
• Familiarity with Python, Flask, and API integration for security automation and log management.
• Experience with threat hunting and maintaining composure during high-pressure incidents.
