Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (Medical Devices)

Location: Boulder, Colorado, United States; onsite five days per week. Candidates must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at hire and throughout employment.

Salary: $99,200–$148,800 per year, plus eligibility for a short-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Ensure suppliers deliver compliant, high-quality parts, materials, and services.
• Qualify suppliers, administer certified supplier programs, and monitor supplier performance through the manufacturing cycle.
• Resolve supplier-related production issues and develop audit schedules covering good manufacturing practices and quality standards.
• Support new product development by qualifying components and transitioning parts from design into production.
• Develop supplier quality strategies, approved supplier lists, acceptance sampling plans, supplier-owned quality programs, and control plans.
• Define receiving inspection requirements and validate internal test methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a PhD with no relevant experience.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
• Ability to work onsite at the Boulder facility five days per week.
• For bachelor’s degrees earned outside the United States, the degree must meet the applicable U.S. immigration-equivalency requirements.

• Root cause analysis methodology experience.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience with MS Office and ERP systems.
• Experience working with internal customers, suppliers, and external regulatory agencies.
