Foundry Maintenance Technician, 2nd Shift (Manufacturing): Maintaining and servicing foundry equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, lift truck batteries, and cleaning machinery with an accent on preventative maintenance, equipment inspection, and minor repairs. Focus on extending equipment life, identifying mechanical issues, maintaining industrial batteries, and supporting safe foundry operations during the 3pm–11pm shift.
Location: Ashland, Ohio, United States of America
Salary: $25.03 per hour, plus a $0.55 per hour shift differential for the second shift.

What you will do
- Lubricate and grease motors, conveyors, pumps, trucks, elevators, and foundry machinery.
- Inspect equipment for wear, dirt, belt alignment issues, and other maintenance concerns.
- Report equipment problems and perform minor repairs, including belt adjustments and replacements.
- Maintain electric lift truck batteries by charging, testing, cleaning, watering, and recording their status.
- Perform preventative maintenance and operate power sweepers and other cleaning equipment to maintain foundry floors and aisles.
- Follow established procedures, exercise good judgment, and work under general supervision.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical and preventative maintenance experience.
- Ability to inspect equipment and perform minor repairs.
- Knowledge of battery maintenance and charging procedures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and work independently with attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist consistently throughout the shift.
- Steel-toed footwear and metatarsal covers are required PPE.
Nice to have
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
