TL;DR
VFX Artist (Game Development): Creating and implementing real-time visual effects for Naughty Dog games with an accent on sprite particles, materials, platform optimization, and visual composition. Location: United States, Santa Monica, CA. Hybrid / onsite position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
Hourly base pay: $57.98–$72.45 USD.

What you will do
- Visualize, create, and implement real-time visual effects.
- Create effects optimized for the target platform.
- Work proactively and independently to identify and complete outstanding tasks.
- Collaborate with effects artists and the broader game development team.
Requirements
- Technical and artistic experience with sprite-type particles and materials in a game engine, or equivalent VFX experience on aired films, television, or commercials.
- Ability to optimize effects for efficient rendering while maintaining visual quality.
- Strong sense of form, color, timing, and composition.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and patience when resolving complex production challenges.
- Ability to take ownership of problems and collaborate until they are resolved.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
