Software Engineer II (PHP/Symfony)

What you will do

• Build, maintain, secure, and evolve the healthcare platform.
• Architect and develop scalable member-facing applications and core platform capabilities using PHP/Symfony and React.
• Design database schemas, optimize SQL queries, and develop automated tests with PostgreSQL.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Build and support cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure and troubleshoot Linux-based applications.
• Provide technical leadership, create engineering tasks, conduct code reviews, and improve system scalability, availability, and performance.

Requirements

• 2.5+ years of experience in the computer science industry and 3+ years of engineering design and software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with PHP and Symfony.
• Experience developing modern web applications with React.
• 3+ years of experience designing database schemas and optimizing SQL queries with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Microsoft Azure, Linux/Unix systems, and command-line tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
