Analyst (Private Equity)

What you will do

• Build financial models and perform quantitative and qualitative analyses for investment due diligence and portfolio value creation.
• Draft investment memoranda and prepare presentations for the Investment Committee.
• Research industries, map markets, develop investment theses, and engage with industry experts, customers, and advisors.
• Support diligence workstreams covering financial analysis, customer research, valuation, and competitive benchmarking.
• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across Europe and other global markets.
• Collaborate with senior investment professionals, entrepreneurs, portfolio companies, and colleagues across global offices, including frequent travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s students are also eligible.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, or Venture Capital.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is required.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, accounting, business judgment, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Curiosity, initiative, collaboration skills, and interest in investing and high-growth companies.
