Software Engineer II: Hardware Verification R&D

What you will do

• Develop customer- and Product Engineering-requested features, including functional specifications, code, unit tests, regression tests, static analysis, performance evaluation, and code reviews.
• Maintain existing features through bug fixes, refactoring, and performance improvements.
• Develop compiler functionality for the STIL language and hardware testbench generation in the ATPG/DFT area.
• Work on Functional Safety solutions for the Palladium emulation environment.
• Support Application Engineering with feature deployment on customer environments.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering and Product Validation on feature specification and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Object-oriented programming, advanced data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
• Proficiency in C++, Git or Perforce, and Unix environments.
• Very good spoken and written English and Portuguese are required.

Nice to have

• Compiler development experience.
• Tcl or Python scripting experience.
• EDA and VLSI design knowledge, including Verilog and VHDL.
• Knowledge of DFT/ATPG flows and ISO 26262.
