Intern: Software Engineering: Hardware Verification R&D

What you will do

• Develop new features for the Palladium emulation platform based on customer and Product Engineering requirements.
• Contribute to functional specifications, code development, unit tests, regression tests, static analysis, and performance evaluation.
• Maintain existing features through bug fixes, refactoring, and performance improvements.
• Support feature deployment on customer sites in collaboration with Application Engineering.
• Specify and test features with Product Engineering and Product Validation teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Expected graduation in January 2028 or July 2028.
• Availability to work in person at Savassi, Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
• Good spoken and written English and Portuguese.
• Availability for a 20-hour-per-week internship.

Nice to have

• University knowledge of software development using version control systems.
• Fundamentals of algorithms and data structures.
• Exposure to EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL.
• Experience with or projects in C++.
• Interest in learning Tcl or Python.
