Program Lead, Ebola Response (Humanitarian Emergency Programs)

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and strategic development of the Ebola response program portfolio.
• Coordinate multisector programming supporting primary health care, infection prevention and control, community awareness, protection, and mental health and psychosocial support.
• Manage Program Coordinators and program teams, strengthening implementation quality, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.
• Lead funding strategy, proposal development, donor reporting, grant compliance, budget oversight, and financial risk management.
• Build partnerships with local organizations, government authorities, humanitarian agencies, donors, and technical teams.
• Represent IRC in coordination forums and support advocacy, resource mobilization, and transition planning with the DRC country program.

Requirements

• At least eight years of leadership experience in emergency, conflict, or epidemic settings, including five years managing NGO programs.
• Experience managing protection, WASH, cash, and primary health programs, including partnerships with local organizations.
• Experience working in rapidly changing and complex security environments, with mobile program models and remote management.
• Proven success developing donor proposals and managing programs funded by government agencies, FCDO, ECHO, foundations, and private donors.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary, cross-cultural teams and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to expected results.
• Fluency in English and French is required. Experience in an Ebola outbreak or in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is advantageous.
