DevOps Engineer (AWS/Hybrid Infrastructure)

Location: Cyprus, with relocation to Limassol and work from the company office

What you will do

• Build and evolve AWS infrastructure with Terraform across compute, networking, storage, IAM, databases, and load balancing.
• Provision and manage OpenStack virtual machines, Linux services, and workloads running on bare-metal servers.
• Deploy and operate OKD workloads with Helm and Helmfile, including chart maintenance and deployment troubleshooting.
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Manage Linux systems with Ansible and automate recurring operational tasks.
• Own workload observability with Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and ELK, while troubleshooting cross-system production issues with Development, QA, DevOps, and Platform teams.

Requirements

• Recent hands-on AWS experience with large-scale, high-traffic, business-critical production systems.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes-based environments, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and preferably GitLab CI.
• Hands-on Ansible experience, including writing or maintaining roles.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing, load balancing, firewalls, security groups, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Confident Linux, virtual machine, production infrastructure, Bash, and Python skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layer problems independently.

Hiring process

• HR interview lasting approximately 45 minutes.
• Technical interview lasting approximately 1.5 hours, followed by a one-hour final interview.
