Senior IT Auditor (AI)

Salary: $123,250–$145,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own IT General Controls and technology risk across the audit program.
• Contribute to IT risk assessments and create prioritized testing plans for access, change management, and system operations.
• Design ITGC testing processes, workpaper templates, and documentation frameworks from scratch.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and open items with external audit and the co-source partner.
• Lead walkthroughs and test controls across key applications, infrastructure, vendors, and subservice organizations.
• Assess control deficiencies, drive remediation, and implement AI-driven automation to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT audit, ITGC testing, or IT risk and compliance.
• Big Four or co-source IT audit experience.
• Experience building or significantly enhancing an ITGC testing program or methodology.
• Strong knowledge of access management, change management, system operations, SOC 1/SOC 2 reports, and vendor risk.
• Experience managing external audit or co-source relationships and communicating technical controls to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with AuditBoard, Vanta, NetSuite, Google Workspace, major LLM providers, Salesforce, and Workday.

Nice to have

• CISA, CISSP, CIA, or a similar certification.
• Experience applying AI or automation in IT audit or testing workflows.
• Experience auditing cloud and SaaS environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, Okta, GitHub, or Google Workspace.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, ACL, or continuous monitoring tools.
• SOX-compliant or public-company-readiness experience.
