What you will do
- Provide legal support for business activities, investment initiatives, and financial products.
- Draft, review, and assess contracts, agreements, memoranda, articles of association, and other legal documents.
- Support the establishment, registration, and management of investment funds and new investment products.
- Prepare and review syndication agreements, investment-related agreements, amendments, terminations, and annexes.
- Maintain corporate and legal registers and update internal policies, procedures, and legal documentation.
- Identify legal risks, prepare mitigation recommendations, coordinate external legal advisors, and support disputes when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in legal support, corporate law, or legal services within the financial sector.
- Knowledge of Georgian corporate, civil, and financial sector regulatory legislation.
- Strong contract drafting, legal research, legal analysis, and regulatory interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of English is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of securities market and investment funds legislation is a significant advantage.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Law.
- Knowledge of Georgian securities market and investment funds legislation.
