Staff Solutions Engineer (DACH)

Location: Remote, supporting customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH)

What you will do

• Partner with Sales on strategic enterprise opportunities across DACH.
• Lead technical discovery, solution design, customer workshops, and architecture discussions.
• Help enterprises evaluate, pilot, deploy, and operate Firefox Enterprise in secure and regulated environments.
• Validate integrations across SSO, MFA, IAM, SIEM, DLP, CASB, proxies, certificates, PKI, endpoint tooling, and browser policy frameworks.
• Identify technical risks involving application compatibility, certificate handling, deployment complexity, and policy enforcement.
• Create reference architectures, deployment guidance, validation plans, enablement materials, and partner support resources.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Security Architecture, or Technical Account Management.
• Strong experience with enterprise security, endpoint management, browser security, Zero Trust, IAM, or digital workplace infrastructure.
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows enterprise deployment, GPO, MDM, policy management, certificates, PKI, TLS, proxies, SSO, MFA, IdP integrations, SIEM, DLP, and CASB.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm in customer-operated environments, as well as enterprise pilots and technical evaluations.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical configurations and sales evidence.
• Native-level German and strong written and verbal English are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the DACH IT landscape, especially public-sector, financial-services, or KRITIS organizations.
