Senior Credit & Collections Analyst (AI)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States

Base salary: $98,000–$130,000 per year, plus eligible bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Conduct credit reviews for new and existing customers, set credit limits and payment terms, and apply company credit policies.
• Manage high-exposure and operationally complex collections accounts and resolve escalated billing and payment issues.
• Perform month-end close activities, including bad debt reserve analysis, sub-ledger reconciliations, flux analysis, journal entries, and accruals.
• Partner with Sales, RevOps, Billing, Legal, Finance, and Treasury on complex deals, pre-bill issues, and billing discrepancies.
• Identify order-to-cash process gaps and implement automation, AI-driven enhancements, and policy improvements.
• Support accurate financial reporting, audits, allowance for credit losses, CECL analysis, and write-off processing.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dallas, Texas, United States.
• At least 5 years of progressive Credit & Collections experience, including 3 years managing large enterprise portfolios.
• Experience with journal entries, accruals, allowance for credit losses and CECL methodology, write-offs, and audit support.
• Ability to interpret customer financial statements and assess credit risk.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building complex reporting models and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or another major ERP system.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or technology hardware.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with remote BPO teams and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience applying AI tools or LLMs to collections workflows, credit-risk prediction, or payment analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and audit requirements.
