HR Operations Associate (AI Automation)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

Salary: EUR 27,000–35,000 per year, plus eligible annual bonus

What you will do

• Manage the employee lifecycle in Workday, including onboarding, transfers, confirmations, offboarding, contracts, records, and employee queries.
• Coordinate background checks, exits, settlements, audits, compliance checks, and monthly HR reporting.
• Run talent acquisition operations in iCIMS, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, offer processing, requisition tracking, and pipeline reporting.
• Identify repetitive HR Operations and Talent Acquisition tasks and replace them with automated workflows.
• Build and maintain Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data transfers, and reporting.
• Use Python and AI assistants to clean and reconcile data, generate reports, draft communications, and prototype lightweight dashboards and automations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or Talent Acquisition Operations.
• Hands-on experience independently designing and delivering Power Automate workflows or comparable low-code automations.
• Working knowledge of Python for data cleaning, reconciliation, and report generation.
• Regular practical use of AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
• Strong Excel skills and hands-on Workday HCM experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, ownership, independence, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate Desktop.
• Experience building or maintaining an internal HR automation, chatbot, or AI-assisted workflow.
