Middle Accountant

Location: Tbilisi, Georgia; hybrid schedule with 4 days in the office and 1 day remotely

What you will do

• Post daily accounting entries and maintain accounting documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and contracts.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
• Monitor compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Calculate salaries, vacation pay, and business trip expenses.
• Participate in preparing financial statements and supporting audit processes.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
• Ability to read and write in Georgian is required.
• Experience working with Russian individual entrepreneurs.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards, international payments, and basic Georgian tax legislation.
• Proficiency in Excel and Balance accounting software.
• English or Russian at B2-C2 level is required for communication with management.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and responsibility.

Nice to have

• Experience in audit.
• Experience with several accounting solutions, including NetSuite.
