What you will do
- Lead and consult on software delivery for external-facing websites and enterprise content management applications.
- Design and develop high-quality web functionality in collaboration with frontend developers.
- Evaluate technical approaches and implement efficient, scalable, maintainable, extensible, and robust solutions.
- Review code across the application stack, diagnose issues, and optimize runtime and memory usage.
- Create unit, regression, system-level, and automated frontend tests for new features and changes.
- Document technical solutions and designs, including diagrams, while improving development processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software design and development experience with expert-level knowledge of multiple programming languages, including Java and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience building enterprise-scale web applications with micro-frontend architecture.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, AJAX frameworks, ES6, JavaScript build tools, React, and jQuery.
- Experience using AI to supplement software development and writing Playwright or Cypress tests for frontend automation.
- Knowledge of SEO, WCAG compliance, performance optimization, REST APIs, JSON, XML, third-party SDK integrations, and software engineering best practices.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience or certification.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager, including integrations with React in headful and headless configurations.
- Experience with Git, Jira, DevOps, deployment configurations, multi-repository codebases, and RESTful service integrations.
- Experience with Atomic Design, reusable components, webpack customization, UMD bundling, and isomorphic applications.
- Experience with Jest, Jasmine, Mocha, JUnit, and Mockito.
- Technical leadership experience and the ability to deliver projects involving multiple engineers.
