What you will do
- Review and respond to requests for new commercial contracts, amendments, renewals, and related documents.
- Review exceptions and negotiate basic to moderately complex terms with customers and vendors under senior legal counsel supervision.
- Identify legal issues and coordinate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Service, Finance, and other internal departments.
- Draft contract documentation, correspondence, internal memoranda, and legal responses to customer requests for proposals.
- Assist with corporate entity management and handle ad hoc contract-related assignments.
Requirements
- JD degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar or approved in-house counsel status from the Florida Bar.
- At least 2 years of commercial transactional law practice.
- Experience reading, interpreting, drafting, modifying, and negotiating legal documents.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a large workload, prioritize effectively, and work on multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
