Accounts Receivable Collections Associate (Clinical Research)

What you will do

• Manage accounts receivable portfolios, monitor aging reports, and identify delinquent accounts and collection risks.
• Analyze portfolio performance, prepare reports, support forecasting, and develop strategies to improve cash flow.
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, payment delays, account discrepancies, and escalated account issues.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement strategies while maintaining customer relationships.
• Reconcile customer accounts, maintain accurate collection documentation, and recommend payment plans or third-party referrals.
• Collaborate with Finance, Contracts, Operations, and Commercial teams on process improvements, policies, controls, and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, billing, credit management, or related financial operations.
• Experience managing customer portfolios, resolving escalated account issues, and achieving collection outcomes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, reporting, and data analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
