TL;DR
KYC Analyst (AML/CFT): Reviewing client files, due diligence documentation, screenings, and risk assessments across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on regulatory compliance, beneficial ownership analysis, and accurate client data management. Focus on identifying documentation gaps, escalating financial crime risks, and coordinating information gathering with clients and stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid in Moka, Mauritius

What you will do

  • Review client files and due diligence documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with AML/CFT policies.
  • Perform screenings and risk assessments, applying standard, simplified, or enhanced due diligence as appropriate.
  • Identify gaps in client records and work with clients and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information.
  • Maintain accurate client data, findings, action points, and supporting documentation in internal systems.
  • Monitor compliance with jurisdictional regulations and internal procedures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Escalate risks and regulatory concerns and provide management with updates on review progress and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree completed or in progress in Law, Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or a relevant professional qualification such as CGI/ICSA or STEP.
  • At least one year of experience in financial services, compliance, legal, audit, or another regulated environment.
  • Experience with KYC, AML/CFT, or client due diligence processes.
  • Understanding of corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and customer due diligence requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and business systems, plus strong attention to detail and personal accountability.
