TL;DR

Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Python/Go): Building internal tools, automation, and CI/CD infrastructure that improve production reliability and reduce manual operational work with an accent on system design, cloud infrastructure, and production support. Focus on designing maintainable automation, investigating incidents, improving monitoring and alerting, and supporting reliable deployments through testing, rollback, and operational runbooks.

Location: Hybrid in Bandung, Indonesia, with at least 4 days per week in the office

What you will do

Design, build, and maintain internal tools, services, and automation using Python, Go, and shell scripting.
Translate operational needs into requirements, system designs, proofs of concept, tested production solutions, and documentation.
Develop CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure and configuration workflows, and support reliable deployment and rollback.
Operate and troubleshoot production services, including monitoring, maintenance, controlled changes, and scheduled on-call support.
Investigate incidents, contribute to root cause analysis, and turn recurring problems into lasting reliability improvements.
Improve monitoring, alerting, service performance, runbooks, and operational adoption across SRE, Engineering, and Production Support.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, systems engineering, or production software engineering with operational responsibilities.
Strong programming skills in Python or Go, practical Bash or shell scripting, and experience building maintainable operational tools with APIs, testing, error handling, and version control.
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD automation with Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent tools.
Experience with AWS or GCP, Linux administration, networking, production troubleshooting, infrastructure as code or configuration management, and monitoring or logging platforms.
Ability to clarify incomplete requirements, design solutions, build proofs of concept, explain technical decisions, and collaborate across teams.
Applicants must have valid working rights in Indonesia at the time of application; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

Docker, Kubernetes, distributed systems, service level objectives, capacity planning, and post-incident reviews.
Experience with cloud backup or SaaS platforms, databases, storage, messaging systems, cloud APIs, monitoring systems, or ticketing workflows.
