Associate, Global Financial Control (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Review departments by identifying and documenting key risks and controls.
• Develop and execute control-testing procedures when assigned, document results, and evaluate control quality.
• Monitor regulatory rules and industry changes relevant to financial services.
• Communicate with partners at different levels and present recommendations on operations and controls.
• Identify and resolve problems within established guidelines, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Prepare formal reports and meet deadlines while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Knowledge of auditing in the financial services industry and basic accounting principles.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical, organizational, and adaptability skills.
• Ability to document and test internal controls and assess control environments.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor qualification.
