TL;DR
Consultant - Accounting (Web3): Managing full-set bookkeeping, audits, reconciliations, and cryptocurrency accounts payable for up to 20 entities across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on multi-entity accounting, statutory compliance, and on-chain transaction reconciliation. Focus on recording crypto payments accurately, interpreting accounting standards, improving finance processes, and guiding junior team members.

What you will do
- Liaise with external auditors, coordinate statutory audit testing samples, and prepare accounting memos.
- Manage full-set bookkeeping for up to 20 standalone entities across Hong Kong, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Korea, the Cayman Islands, and other jurisdictions.
- Handle daily accounting operations, including subsidiary funding, cost recharges, invoicing, invoice verification, and authorization checks.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the ledger.
- Manage accounts payable settled in cryptocurrency and reconcile crypto payments with on-chain transactions.
- Interpret accounting standards, develop policies and procedures, improve processes, and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience; experience combining Big 4 audit and commercial accounting is preferred.
- Less experience may be considered for a Senior Associate level.
- Proficiency with modern ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, or Expensify.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent attention to detail, and an organized approach to work.
- Excellent written and spoken English required.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to have
- QP candidate or CPA qualification.
- Experience with statutory audits and cryptocurrency accounting.
