SEO/GEO Team Lead

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Own client relationships and lead SEO/GEO strategy, execution, deliverables, and client calls.
• Develop SEO/GEO roadmaps using client KPIs, competitor analysis, site audits, and industry expertise.
• Audit and optimize product, service, and landing pages across technical SEO, GEO, CRO, search rankings, AI citations, and conversion performance.
• Analyze websites for page-speed, architecture, crawling, and indexing issues, and create clear implementation checklists.
• Coordinate SEO/GEO content creation, write optimized briefs and web copy, and oversee delivery across different industries.
• Analyze performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Peec AI, and related tools, then present reports and recommendations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an SEO/GEO role.
• Experience with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Peec AI, or similar tools.
• Experience tracking AI search visibility, including share of voice, citation and reference rate, and AI-referral traffic.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Deep experience with eCommerce, Fintech, and SaaS websites, including SEO/GEO audits and technical understanding of crawling, indexing, and ranking.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Google Workspace, and web design principles.

Nice to have

• Experience in an agency environment, with 2–3 years preferred.
• Experience with large eCommerce websites and WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or headless CMS platforms.
• Experience with Basecamp, Productive, or a similar project management tool.
• Experience with product feed optimization and agentic commerce.
