Site Manager (EPC, Machinery & Plant Engineering)

Location: Algiers, Algeria; onsite role with long-term stays abroad required for project-site missions

What you will do

• Lead full project, entity, or sub-project site management for EPC, machinery, and plant engineering projects.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning, start-up, delivery reception, site infrastructure, resources, tools, vehicles, and subcontractors.
• Manage cost, quality, schedule, risk, resources, profitability, and compliance with site management procedures.
• Lead site teams, sub-site managers, and supervisors while coordinating with project management and other stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, contractors, engineers, authorities, and staff on technical, commercial, contractual, and schedule matters.
• Manage negotiations, change requests, claims, reporting, meeting minutes, open-point lists, milestone records, and final acceptance documentation.

Requirements

• Technical qualification or university degree in mechanical engineering, process or industrial engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 10+ years of successful site management experience in mechanical and plant engineering or EPC projects.
• Proven experience in project management, installation, commissioning, subcontractor management, customer interactions, claims, contract changes, and negotiations.
• Ability to lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders in an international environment.
• Excellent English is mandatory, with strong communication abilities in French and/or Arabic.
• MS Office and MS Project skills, together with strong organizational, planning, cost-awareness, ownership, resilience, and solution-oriented skills.
