TL;DR
Senior QA Automation Developer (HELOC) (Java/Selenium/Playwright): Building automated functional and performance testing capabilities for financial products with an accent on AI-assisted test development, disposable environments, and microservice validation. Location: Fully remote for candidates based in Canada

What you will do
- Develop automated functional and performance tests using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and AI tools.
- Use LLMs to create feature test plans and internal knowledge stores for automation and deep testing.
- Define AI workflows that help developers run automation tests, evaluate failures, and troubleshoot environment issues.
- Run tests in disposable environments by deploying microservices with different versions and configurations and customizing database content.
- Configure, patch, and deploy services and infrastructure changes through production.
- Analyze logs, reproduce production issues in non-production environments, and collaborate with the QA platform team.
Requirements
- English is required for collaboration with staff at offices worldwide.
- Experience developing Java test automation with Selenium or Playwright in IntelliJ, Eclipse, or similar IDEs.
- Experience deploying services in Kubernetes using ArgoCD and Jenkins.
- Ability to improve test infrastructure with Docker, Playwright, and headless browser execution.
- Familiarity with SumoLogic or Kibana and monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.
- Experience working with Agile methodology and a strong focus on test automation and product quality.
