OFCI Manager (MEP Construction): Managing owner-furnished contractor-installed equipment delivery across large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction projects with an accent on vendor coordination, manufacturing quality control, and site execution. Focus on aligning equipment schedules and factory testing with project milestones, monitoring installation quality and safety, and driving corrective actions through completion.

What you will do
- Develop and implement the OFCI delivery strategy, coordinate stakeholders, and track delivery against project KPIs.
- Align vendor equipment schedules with overall project schedules and coordinate equipment manufacturing, delivery, installation, and handover.
- Coordinate factory witness tests, factory acceptance tests, inspections, and quality control before equipment shipment.
- Manage contractors, vendors, installation requirements, method statements, paperwork, sign-offs, and change management.
- Monitor site safety, progress, quality, non-conforming work, variations, delays, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate client, consultant, contractor, and vendor teams during meetings, snagging, documentation, and project closeout.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or construction management, or a technical degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 7+ years of recent construction management experience on large, complex projects involving large-scale MEP plants.
- 5+ years of experience directly managing construction management and/or commissioning professionals.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
- Experience managing general contractors and vendors, including equipment manufacturing, delivery, requests for proposals, bidding, and change orders.
- Experience working on international projects and understanding cultural diversity and inclusion in large-scale program delivery.
