IT Manager (Microsoft 365)

Location: Remote

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Define and execute IT strategy, roadmaps, policies, standards, and annual priorities in partnership with the IT Director and company leadership.
• Oversee daily IT operations across cloud platforms, networking, endpoint management, SaaS applications, and security infrastructure.
• Lead IT projects including migrations, implementations, integrations, automation initiatives, and technology upgrades.
• Manage IT vendors, contracts, renewals, performance, budget planning, and technology ROI.
• Lead identity, access, endpoint, email, threat-detection, and zero-trust security initiatives using tools such as Okta, Zscaler, Arctic Wolf, and Abnormal.
• Oversee helpdesk operations, onboarding and offboarding, user support, internal training, service-level processes, and access governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience managing IT operations in a cloud-first, SaaS-heavy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Zscaler, Okta, Arctic Wolf, Abnormal, and related IT and security tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional IT projects and managing vendors from negotiation through delivery.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, ITGC, data protection, access management, and information security practices.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical execution and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting SOX, SOC 2, audit readiness, and compliance programs.
• Experience managing or scaling small IT teams in high-growth environments.
