Instructional Design Team Lead

Location: Mexico; hybrid work with flexibility to work from the office or remotely

What you will do

• Lead a team of 7 Instructional Designers, including hiring, mentoring, development, and performance management.
• Design end-to-end learning experiences that address business and performance challenges.
• Define learning objectives, expected behavioral changes, and measurable business outcomes.
• Select appropriate learning formats, including courses, simulations, checklists, case studies, manager enablement, and workflow interventions.
• Develop hypotheses, pilot MVP learning solutions, validate them through data, and iterate before scaling.
• Build reusable learning frameworks and continuously improve the knowledge base in partnership with L&D Project Managers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate or B2B Learning & Development.
• Experience as a Senior Instructional Designer, Learning Experience Designer, Methodologist, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
• Experience using learning and business metrics to evaluate effectiveness and measure impact.
• Product mindset, systems thinking, and experience with experimentation, validation, and iterative improvement.
• C1 English required for communication with an international team.

• Experience in both corporate Learning & Development and EdTech.
• Experience in fast-growing technology or product-driven companies.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional business stakeholders.
• Understanding of how learning initiatives influence business and operational metrics.
• Spanish language skills.
