TL;DR
Director, Clinical Data Transparency, EHDS Programme Management (EHDS/regulatory data governance): Leading the strategy, governance, operating model, and implementation roadmap for the European Health Data Space programme with an accent on cross-functional delivery, regulatory alignment, and technology enablement. Focus on coordinating global workstreams, managing enterprise risks and dependencies, designing change and adoption strategies, and translating complex regulatory requirements into sustainable business capabilities.

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days onsite weekly, in Beerse, Belgium; Leiden, the Netherlands; High Wycombe or Maidenhead, UK; Allschwil, Switzerland; or Spring House, Titusville, Raritan, United States. Remote work may be considered case by case with company approval.

Base salary: Netherlands €101,000–€174,800; Belgium €119,200–€204,355; Switzerland CHF163,000–CHF280,485.

What you will do

  • Define and deliver the European Health Data Space programme strategy, operating model, governance, and implementation roadmap.
  • Lead integrated planning across regulation monitoring, operating model design, technology enablement, data inventory, cataloging, and change management.
  • Direct cross-functional execution, managing scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, resources, decisions, and delivery performance.
  • Align Global Development, Legal, Privacy, Regulatory Affairs, Technology, Data Transparency, MedTech, and other business functions.
  • Advise senior governance bodies, prepare executive reporting, and represent the organization with external bodies and industry partners.
  • Lead change, communications, training, adoption, and transition of EHDS capabilities into business-as-usual operations.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in a scientific, technology, healthcare, or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant pharmaceutical, healthcare, technology, or scientific experience, including leadership of large, complex, cross-functional programmes.
  • Expertise in programme and portfolio management, integrated planning, risk and dependency management, resource planning, change management, executive reporting, and decision governance.
  • Experience setting programme direction, establishing governance, and delivering outcomes in a global matrix environment.
  • Working knowledge of the EU regulatory environment and data-related obligations; familiarity with EHDS, GDPR, clinical trial transparency, data governance, or regulated technology implementation.
  • Experience leading people, senior individual contributors, vendors, or multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Formal project or programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or SAFe.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, database management, data security, data stewardship, emerging technologies, or performance measurement.
