Application Consultant (Digital Pathology)

Location: Fully remote from Italy; based in the Digital Pathology team in Italy. Travel of up to 80%, including overnight travel, is required within the assigned territory and occasionally outside it.

Gross annual salary: €54,000–€63,000. Target bonus: 20% of annual base salary.

What you will do

• Partner with Sales Specialists, Account Managers, and customer stakeholders to advance opportunities and support growth objectives.
• Lead customer discovery sessions, workflow assessments, and solution design workshops.
• Design and present IT architectures and solutions addressing clinical, operational, and enterprise healthcare IT requirements.
• Demonstrate digital pathology, image analysis, hardware, software, workflow, and AI-enabled diagnostic solutions.
• Support customers before and after sales through technical consulting, training, solution adoption, and stakeholder engagement.
• Help healthcare organizations transition to digital and computational pathology workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, informatics, imaging, or healthcare-related discipline.
• Experience in healthcare IT environments, systems integration, digital pathology, medical imaging, diagnostics, healthcare IT, or laboratory technology.
• Knowledge of LIS interoperability standards such as DICOM and HL7, plus experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM platform.
• Experience in solution selling, technical consulting, applications support, or solution architecture.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and willingness to travel up to 80%.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating or supporting digital pathology scanners and image management systems in clinical or research laboratories.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, customer training, or product demonstrations to medium-to-large audiences.
• Experience with medical image analysis algorithms, computational pathology, or AI solutions for clinical diagnostics.
