What you will do
- Operate, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure environments, including compute, storage, networking, Entra ID, RBAC/PIM, Key Vault, Azure Policy, backup and recovery, and PaaS services.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
- Automate operational activities with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Azure CLI.
- Monitor production platforms, investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and manage certificates, custom domains, and renewals.
- Support Windows Server, VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, Active Directory, networking, storage, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
- Participate in service delivery, change execution, documentation, stakeholder communication, and the on-call roster.
Requirements
- Strong practical capability with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, infrastructure as code, and automation.
- Experience with Terraform or Bicep, Git, CI/CD, release management, pull requests, code reviews, and deployment governance.
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, KQL, IAM/RBAC, PIM, Key Vault, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Practical Windows Server and VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter experience.
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
- Availability for on-call and after-hours support when required.
