Health & Safety Program Manager

Location: Hybrid role based in the Dublin, Ireland office, combining scheduled on-site collaboration with remote flexibility. Occasional international and regional travel of approximately 10–15% is required.

Salary: €50,000–€68,200 annual base salary for candidates located in Ireland, plus applicable equity, bonus, healthcare coverage, paid time off, and parental leave.

What you will do

• Own the design, governance, execution, and continuous improvement of global health, safety, and occupational wellness programs.
• Manage third-party EHS vendors, consultants, Statements of Work, KPIs, SLAs, procurement, contracts, and performance reviews.
• Lead global workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, occupational injury and illness claims, audits, reserves, settlements, and return-to-work programs.
• Oversee multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance, risk assessments, statutory reporting, corrective actions, and relationships with safety authorities.
• Direct global ergonomics programs for corporate offices and remote workers, including evaluations, accommodations, assessment platforms, and equipment guidelines.
• Lead incident investigations, emergency preparedness, GSOC coordination, safety metrics, drills, first-aid programs, and corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive experience leading environmental health, safety, and occupational wellness programs in multinational enterprises or technology environments.
• Experience managing programs across multi-site portfolios in EMEA, the Americas, and APAC.
• Direct experience with global EHS vendors, workers’ compensation programs, employer liability claims, third-party claims administrators, and return-to-work processes.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health and Safety Authority requirements and EU health and safety directives, with the ability to oversee international frameworks such as US OSHA.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Recognized health and safety certification such as NEBOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, CSP, or an equivalent qualification.

Nice to have

• Experience scaling remote or hybrid ergonomics programs and digital ergonomics assessment platforms.
• Experience integrating health and safety workflows with 24/7 GSOCs and enterprise crisis management platforms.
• Experience with casualty insurance broker reviews and global risk management underwriting surveys.
