Senior Environment Modeling Artist (3D Animation)

What you will do

• Contribute to the visual development of animated films in coordination with the Production Designer and Art department.
• Create environment models using photography, pre-existing models, and concept art.
• Model trees, bushes, and other vegetation to match the visual style of the production.
• Adapt and iterate across different artistic styles while researching independently when concept art is unavailable.
• Track relevant artistic methodologies, technology trends, and production tools.
• Support, guide, and instruct team members in areas contributing to artistic and professional growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the VFX or animation industries, including 3+ years in animation.
• Strong artistic and/or technical aptitude related to 3D animation.
• Extensive experience with Maya.
• Experience with ZBrush and Arnold Render.
• Knowledge of skinning, rigging, technical constraints, and optimization.
• Spanish is desirable; a high level of English is desirable.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SpeedTree, Houdini, and Marvelous Designer.
