TL;DR
Digital Performance Manager - Search (SEO/SEM/AI): Leading search strategy across SEO, SEM, local search, and emerging AI-powered discovery channels to increase visibility, bookings, revenue, and marketing return with an accent on performance analysis, commercial outcomes, and agency direction. Focus on building the search roadmap, translating customer and traffic data into recommendations, and identifying opportunities in AI search and automation.

Location: Hybrid role based at the beachfront office in Coolangatta, Australia

NRMA Parks & Resorts provides accommodation across Australian holiday parks and resorts as part of the member-owned hirify.global.

What you will do

  • Own the search strategy across SEO, SEM, local search, and emerging AI-powered discovery channels.
  • Drive improvements in visibility, bookings, revenue, return on marketing investment, ROAS, and CPA.
  • Analyse traffic, conversion, and customer behaviour data, translating insights into clear business recommendations.
  • Lead specialist SEO and SEM agencies, set direction, and align activity with commercial objectives.
  • Develop a search roadmap across destinations, properties, and accommodation offerings.
  • Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Revenue, and Web Experience teams while mentoring the Content Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in digital performance, search marketing, SEO, SEM, or growth marketing.
  • Experience leading search strategy and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend next steps to the business.
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, website performance, customer acquisition, and digital marketing channels.
  • Experience managing agencies, external partners, or specialist digital suppliers.
  • Confidence influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders, with leadership or mentoring experience.
