What you will do
- Design, code, test, debug, and maintain product features with a focus on quality and reliable delivery.
- Spend at least 75% of working time coding and contributing directly to product deliverables.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Monitor production applications, investigate client-impacting issues, and resolve software problems.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests and contribute to scalable, reusable engineering patterns.
- Own assigned work from design through production and contribute to technical roadmap initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
- 1β2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Professional Python development experience and unit testing with PyTest or a similar framework.
- Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript, plus working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
- Ability to analyze technical problems, evaluate solutions, communicate clearly, and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Strong knowledge of AI-assisted development practices and willingness to stay current with software engineering advancements.
Nice to have
- Experience with Vue.js or a similar frontend framework.
- Exposure to SQLAlchemy, cloud computing platforms, or AWS.
- Bilingual French and English communication skills.
