What you will do
- Create and maintain API documentation, developer guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles for internal platforms.
- Set documentation quality standards and coordinate content deliverables across platform, engineering, product, and learning teams.
- Manage the documentation lifecycle from planning and review through publication and deprecation.
- Identify content gaps using developer feedback, support queries, and usage data, and incorporate findings into content strategy.
- Build templates and self-service processes that help platform teams create documentation efficiently.
- Develop learning paths and onboarding tasks, define content success metrics, and mentor junior contributors.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technical writing, developer education, technical program management, or a related field.
- Proven experience creating API documentation, developer guides, and platform-focused content.
- Strong command of Markdown, HTML, documentation tools, and Git-based content workflows.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics to backend, SRE, ML, and mobile developer audiences.
- Experience coordinating deliverables, timelines, requirements, and blockers across engineering and product teams.
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills with the ability to manage multiple content tracks.
Nice to have
- Experience with developer platforms or internal tooling.
- Background in content strategy, information architecture, or developer communities.
- Exposure to AI-assisted content workflows and documentation automation.
- Experience using analytics to measure content performance and developer engagement.
- Familiarity with technical program management, roadmaps, OKRs, and cross-team coordination.
