Employee & Labor Relations Manager France (MedTech/HR): Managing employee and labor relations in France, including labor-law compliance, employee representative meetings, collective bargaining, investigations, and workforce-change consulting with an accent on complex labor relations and strategic HR support. Focus on negotiating company agreements, leading grievance and disciplinary cases, advising leaders during restructuring, and improving data-driven service delivery.

Location: Issy-les-Moulineaux, France; 5% travel may be required.

Base pay: €60,400–€103,960 per year, plus an annual bonus or sales commission depending on the role and location.

What you will do

  • Manage employee and labor relations activities for France and support local policy compliance with French labor law.
  • Prepare and lead employee representative meetings, including CSE and CSSCT meetings.
  • Develop labor relations strategies and negotiate company collective bargaining agreements.
  • Advise on workforce events such as mergers, divestitures, restructurings, and reductions in force.
  • Lead grievance investigations, disciplinary cases, and critical employee or leader interventions.
  • Improve ERLR processes, service delivery metrics, communications, and continuous-improvement plans, including responsible AI adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a master’s degree in employment or labor law, HR, or a related field is preferred.
  • English and French proficiency required.
  • Minimum 7 years of dynamic HR experience, including complex labor relations, works councils, unions, investigations, grievances, and organizational changes.
  • Strong expertise in French employment law, HR compliance, coaching, relationship management, and collaboration with leaders and key partners.
  • Experience with HR technologies, ticketing, knowledge and document management, HR analytics, and data-based decision-making.
  • Understanding of AI concepts, responsible and ethical AI practices, effective prompting, and AI’s impact on the workforce.
