CDI - Merchandise/Demand Planner, W/M (Apparel)

Location: Annecy, France; onsite role

International sporting goods company focused on mountain sports products, including footwear, apparel, skis, bindings, and outdoor equipment.

What you will do

• Develop and validate phased regional sales and demand plans by market, distribution channel, and SKU for the apparel category.
• Collect regional plans and facilitate Regional Demand Management Reviews for assigned markets.
• Analyze plan gaps, inconsistencies, timing, buffer viability, and product prioritization, then share recommendations with the central merchandising planning team.
• Ensure demand plans are uploaded into planning systems and support global demand review preparation.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, inventory levels, days of inventory, service levels, and overstock or stock-out risks.
• Coordinate corrective action and inventory reduction plans while supporting responsible purchasing practices across the supply chain.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or an equivalent field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Merchandise Planning or Demand Planning in an international, multi-regional environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and an advanced planning tool such as SAP.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen, functional leadership, and stakeholder-influencing abilities.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Fluent English at C1 level is required.
