Interior Design Lead (Mid-weight Interior Designer)

What you will do

• Support interior design initiatives from concept creation through implementation.
• Develop conceptual frameworks and maintain an on-brand aesthetic suited to the market, neighborhood, and program.
• Produce complete design packages, including interior design drawings, lighting strategies, joinery, FF&E specifications, technical drawings, and coordination materials.
• Plan spaces, define functional requirements, perform high-level programming and code analysis, and prepare Revit-based handoff packages.
• Coordinate with Design & Creative leadership, project teams, architects of record, general contractors, supply chain teams, logistics teams, and vendors.
• Lead internal and external project meetings and provide clear project updates and actionable communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related design field.
• 3+ years of professional design experience in high-quality commercial or hospitality interiors; mixed-use residential, cultural, and institutional experience is also considered.
• Strong joinery design skills and understanding of FF&E principles, dimensions, construction materials, finishes, color combinations, staging, styling, spatial perception, and lighting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication, decision-making, time management, problem-solving, and learning skills.
• Proficiency in BIM Revit is essential, along with Enscape, Google tools, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Portfolio submission is required for consideration, and periodic travel may be required.
