Product Designer (AI)

Location: Helsinki metropolitan area, Finland, with regular days at the client's office

What you will do

• Take digital products from problem discovery through working production solutions.
• Work inside client product teams alongside designers, engineers, and other hirify.global experts.
• Use AI tools to explore design directions, synthesize research, build prototypes, and contribute to production code.
• Help clients identify where AI belongs in their products and how it changes design and development practices.
• Facilitate, coach, and build AI-native design capability in client teams and within hirify.global's design community.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant product design experience and a track record of shipped digital products.
• Hands-on experience working in an AI-native team where AI tools shaped design and development processes.
• Fluency with AI-assisted prototyping and coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Figma Make, plus strong Figma skills.
• Experience with user research, validation, accessibility, WCAG, and working directly with engineers on front-end code and component structures.
• Professional fluency in Finnish is required; fluent English is also required.
• A portfolio containing at least one case demonstrating AI-native product work is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with design systems, consumer-facing services, retail, or e-commerce.
• Experience designing products where AI is part of the customer experience.
• Accessibility certification such as IAAP CPACC or WAS.
