TL;DR
Credit Controller (Credit Management/Collections): Managing customer relationships, collections, credit risk, and receivables for an international business with an accent on cash collection, credit-limit control, and cross-functional finance coordination. Focus on minimizing bad debt, resolving blocked orders and billing discrepancies, and reconciling outstanding customer balances.

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania. Hybrid work is available, with at least half of working days performed from the office. Workation is available for 1–2 months per year from any EU country.

Salary: €2,700–€3,200 gross per month, depending on experience, skills, and competencies.

What you will do

  • Manage daily credit control activities, collections, and credit risk.
  • Collect outstanding balances through customer communication and reminders while minimizing bad debt exposure.
  • Set up and review customer credit limits in line with internal guidelines and approval requirements.
  • Coordinate order releases, resolve blocked orders, and cooperate with sales, customer service, and local finance teams.
  • Investigate unallocated payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and reconcile customer balances.
  • Facilitate Credit Committee meetings and coordinate with hirify.global operations and finance functions.

Requirements

  • Experience in Credit Control or Credit Management, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent written and verbal English is required.
  • Understanding of accounting practices and a compliance-oriented mindset.
  • Strong numerical and attention-to-detail skills with a professional approach to business clients.
  • IT skills including Excel and Outlook.
  • Flexible, proactive, challenge-oriented approach and strong team spirit.

Nice to have

  • Spanish language skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
