Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Childcare SaaS Platform)

Location: Remote from the Philippines or Vietnam. Working hours follow Australia business hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm AEST / 6am–3pm Philippine time.

Salary: Up to PHP 120,000/month or VND 51,000,000/month, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
• Build backend services with PHP, Laravel, and object-oriented development practices.
• Develop responsive frontend applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
• Design and optimise PostgreSQL queries, reports, and high-volume data processing operations.
• Develop features for payment processing, billing workflows, reporting, and third-party integrations.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture, security, stability, and performance improvements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel or Symfony.
• Advanced PostgreSQL, SQL optimisation, and relational database design skills.
• Experience building web applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, SOLID, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI.
• Experience with Linux environments, server troubleshooting, financial transactions, billing systems, or payment gateways.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms serving multiple customers or organisations.
• Experience in education technology, healthcare, finance, or other regulated industries.
• Experience integrating external APIs or government systems.
• Exposure to AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
• Experience modernising legacy applications and familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and Agile practices.
