Project Risk Lead (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and governance of risk management frameworks across major projects and programs.
• Facilitate project risk workshops and identify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities.
• Develop and apply Quantitative Risk Assessment methodologies for cost and schedule forecasting.
• Integrate risk management with project controls and strategic decision-making alongside project leaders and stakeholders.
• Prepare strategic risk reports and recommendations for executive leadership and governance forums.
• Mentor project teams and drive continuous improvement, assurance, compliance, and risk capability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in risk and/or opportunity management within major infrastructure or capital delivery projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Risk Management, Project Management, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 31000.
• Experience facilitating risk workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated capability in Quantitative Risk Assessment and risk modelling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, governance, assurance, project controls, and compliance skills.

• Experience in water, transport, energy, or other major infrastructure sectors.
